This highly focused 2-day NetApp MultiStore Administration Training (NMA) course provides a detailed understanding of how to implement and administer NetApp MultiStore. NetApp MultiStore allows for the partitioning of a physical NetApp storage controller into multiple logical storage controllers. The virtual storage controllers (vFilers) may be used in enterprise or service provider environments to provide secure separation of tenant/department resources and management may be delegated on a per vFiler basis. Each vFiler unit may be authorized to serve over protocols such as CIFS, NFS and iSCSI and data protection and disaster recovery may also be implemented on a per vFiler basis. Upon completion of the NetApp MultiStore Administration Training course, the student will understand secure implementation, configuration and management of vFiler units.
